With all the different types of liposuction devices on the market, it can be hard to keep track of the latest and greatest. Lasers and ultrasonic liposuction have been the most recent incarnations of fat reduction using new technology.
Now, there is a form of liposuction called body-jet, which uses pulses of water under the skin to loosen fat cells and shape areas of excess fat in a more gentle and controlled manner. Patients have experienced shortened downtime and less trauma, similar as has been seen with laser liposuction. In addition, less anesthetic fluid is required for the procedure, leading to increased safety.
